We live in the era of Covid-19 pandemic. Never before have we experienced so many changes within such a short period. With MCO, travel and other related restrictions, many existing services were badly affected. Sadly, some were forced to close.

On the other hand, the healthcare industry has become increasingly important. Suddenly, all of us wake up to realise that being healthy is of paramount importance. More and more people are searching for better health products, programmes and facilities that can enhance their health and wellbeing.

Nonetheless, their needs and expectations have changed. Thus, healthcare industry must evolve in tandem with the people’s changing needs and expectations. There is a need for health entrepreneurs to be innovative in responsive to the dynamic change created by the pandemic.

I had a great discussion with Mr. Bipul Nazir, the founder of H Healthcare, who is also the winner of Asia Best Business Award 2020 and his partner cum medical advisor Dr Ti who was awarded The Family Physician of The Year 2020, about their corporate vision and mission.

Through the discussion, I came to realise that both of them possess great leadership qualities and are very passionate about creating better innovative products and services to enhance the people’s health and wellbeing. I believe that their great leadership will continue to take H Healthcare Berhad to new heights. I can’t wait to see H Healthcare emerging as an exemplary company in the healthcare industry, hopefully in the near future.

The design of H Healthcare’s maiden twin facilities – H Ambulatory Care Centre and BeFit Wellness Hub is so impressive. This innovative design certainly creates a very pleasing and friendly ambience. I am sure that the sick patients will instantly feel much better as they walk in the centre. The idea of twinning the curative care facilities of H Ambulatory Care Centre with a follow-up non-medical and non-surgical preventive healthcare at BeFit Wellness Hub was indeed a great idea. Patients who have been cured need to be educated and encouraged to practise a healthy lifestyle to remain in optimal health so that they can avoid frequent recurrence or onset of diseases. The twinning of the two facilities is also very much in line with H Healthcare’s motto: ‘FROM SICK CARE TO HEALTHCARE.’

I understand that H Healthcare plans to expand similar services to all the other states in Malaysia and is currently in the final stage of planning to build a cardiac hospital near Beijing in China. All these developments by H Healthcare Berhad are certainly very laudable. I would like to wish H Healthcare great success in all its endeavours.
